Documents needed to apply for an Indian E-business visa

- Passport photograph (colored passport with white background, less than 3MB in size, must be in either JPG, PDF or PNG format).
- Scanned copy of your passport’s information page (same specification as above).
- In some cases, an introduction or appointment letter showing the purpose of your travel and a business card or visiting card could be part of the visa requirement in some other instances
- For a traveler invited to deliver lectures, a letter of invitation issued by the host, a copy of the courses’ synopsis and a copy of the sanction order issued by the coordinating institute will be required.

Are there restrictions to the number of days I can stay in India while traveling on an Indian E-business visa?
Yes, there are. Even though your visa allows for multiple entries, you can only stay in India for a maximum of 180 days at a stretch. Any attempt to stay beyond the 180 days will require you to register such intention with the FRRO/FRO concerned after two weeks of exceeding your 180 days stay window.
How long does it take to get my e-business visa ready?
Your e-business visa can be ready in 24 hours, but from the immigration office’s timeline, a maximum of 4 days is advised.
Is it sacrosanct that I have to wait 4 days to my arrival in India before applying for my e-business visa?
